Mercia Praetorian Preceptory 682

n the 3rd of April the Preceptors of the KEVIIPoI were invited by the Mercia Praetorian Preceptory 682, at Wolverhampton to demonstrate the Knights Templar ritual. We arrived at 3.30pm and was welcomed by the registrar John Francis. The meeting was held at Rugeley Masonic Centre, Chase Golf Club. A superb venue.

The meeting started at 5.30pm and was opened by Anthony Bentley. After the business of the preceptor was concluded he invited Ron Prichard to occupy the chair, Dennis Fountain the office of Marshal, with Peter Swannell pointing out and explaining various actions. The Mercia Praetorian Preceptory was most attentive and enthusiastic. It is their intention to become the Preceptory of Improvement that will instruct the Preceptories of the Province on the manner in which the ritual should be performed.

We have no doubt that they will be a great asset to the Province in the future. To complete what had been a most enjoyable day the evening finished with a sumptuous meal. We wish to thank all the Knights of the Mercia Praetorian Preceptory for the hospitality extended to the preceptors of the King Edward Vll Preceptory of Improvement.
